Sikar Road is a very prominent road of Jaipur City connecting it to Shekhawati Area and Bikaner and is considered as major prosperity road of Jaipur. Shekhawati is known for its Entrepreneur Skills, National and international level businessman’s, artistic sculptures richness of fresco wall paintings, handicraft and above all the kind of hospitality extended by the Shekhawati People. State tourism motto “Padharo Mahare Desh” (Guests, you are welcome in our country) is being religiously followed by the people of Shekhawati giving an unforgettable experience to the visiting tourists. Now a Days Shekhawati is developing as a forward education hub of the state of Rajasthan with the emergence of more than 150 colleges and institutes. Even earlier it was regarded as a place to impart quality education under the aegis of institutes like BITS (Pilani).
Sikar Road takes the people of Jaipur and the country to the charmed painted forts, chhatris (cenotaphs), temples like Salasar Balaje, Khatto Shaymjee, Rani Sati and Karni Mata besides havelis (mansions) in the countryside. Some of the booming towns on sikar road are Sikar, Ramgarh, Fatehpur, Lachhmangarh, Churu, Mandawa, Jhunjhunu, Nawalgarh and others.
The One Hundred Sixty Feet wide 8 lane Sikar Road is west facing with full of energy giving spirituality, peace and prosperity beside very good ground water level. One of the starting BRTS project was started on sikar road giving a further recognition to the road on state map. 2nd phase of Metro is in the pipeline connecting Ambabri to Sitapura Industrial Area considered as major coverage of Jaipur City. 4 lane Toll Road has reduced travelling time from Jaipur City to Sikar by more than 30% of the earlier time taken. Changed alignment of Ring road has reduced 37.70 km length which was existed from Daulatpura Kotra to Chandwaji but this part of a road passing over a hill so one tunnel (750 m) will come in this part of the ring road. The project will serve a dual purpose of providing improved access to areas that are developed, for bypassing the city and will serve as an impetus to the growth of underdeveloped countries.
Sikar Road, an industrial and commercial belt also boasts of Vishwakarma Industrial Area, which is one of the biggest RIICO industrial areas in the state. It hosts various manufacturing industries which are a major source of business in the city and revenue for the state government. Dhanuka Group was the first real estate company to realise the potential of this road and came with hugely successfull Hi-rise residential apartment projects like Sunshine Signature, Sunshine Palm and Sunshine Siddharth. After this many residential and commercial projects came on sikar road changing its skyline. With residential and commercial development many automobile companies and wholesale chains such as Metro Cash & Carry and Carrefour opened there stores on sikar road.
In the residential segment, Sikar Road has plots, villas and apartments available. Society is coming up with a township project ‘Suncity Homes’ here. The township will have various features like a shopping mall with multiplex, health centre, club, commercial plots etc. This will also develop commercial complexes along the road. Among others, Abhinandan Projects and Tirupati Builders and Developers are also coming up with luxury apartments and villas here.
Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has also launched affordable residential plots along Sikar Road. The upcoming plots, villas and apartments are seeing a fair number of transactions and are gaining popularity as time passes. The current capital value of apartment’s ranges from Rs 1,500-6,500 per sq ft which is within the affordable range, the locality is seeing increase investor and end-user interest from Delhi NCR owing to the presence of affordable options. In the days to come sikar road will keep growing at fast pace and will always be a premium road of the city and the state.
